Hayden Panettiere’s memoir revelations have sparked a public denial after claims emerged regarding an incident involving a famous undressed man, she was forced into proximity with at age 18.

In an interview on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, Panettiere said she was on a boat cruise when she was led into a small room by someone she trusted. She claimed she was then placed in a bed next to an undressed man who was described as very famous.

“She physically put me in the bed next to this undressed man who was very famous. It was like this was just an average day for him, and this is something that happens all the time,” Panettiere said.

She also described entering a survival response during the situation, saying she felt trapped and relied on the person accompanying her to navigate what was happening.

Following the interview, Diana Jenkins issued a statement through her spokesperson denying any involvement in the incident.

“So let me be 100 percent clear about this: It most certainly is not Diana, and anyone who claims it is her will be sued,” the statement read, as reported by Page Six.

Panettiere reflected that, in hindsight, she understands the situation differently now that she is older. She said she was 18 at the time and believed she was more prepared for adult environments than she actually was.

The actress added that her memoir explores her broader experiences growing up in the entertainment industry, including personal relationships, addiction recovery, and her evolving understanding of trust and boundaries.

Panettiere has previously spoken about attending trauma therapy and inpatient treatment between 2021 and 2022, describing it as part of her recovery journey.

She has also recently confirmed her bisexuality in advance of the memoir’s release, stating she felt ready to be open about it publicly.

Her memoir, set for release on May 19, continues to draw attention as further claims and responses emerge ahead of publication.
