Users will soon be able to create these podcasts directly inside the Spotify app. They only need to type a simple text prompt. After that, Spotify will generate a personalized podcast episode based on the request.

In addition, users will be able to schedule podcasts on a regular basis. This includes options like daily briefings or weekly summaries. As a result, listeners can get updates without creating new requests every time.

The feature also allows users to add extra context to improve results. They can use links, PDFs, text, and other inputs. This helps the system create more relevant and useful podcast content.

Moreover, users can adjust their prompts at any time. They can also select different AI voices for the podcast. Each episode will stay private and will be stored in the Your Library section.

Spotify has confirmed that Personal Podcast will first roll out to Premium users in the United States. The rollout will begin in June. Users will receive a fixed number of monthly credits for generating podcasts. However, they will also have the option to buy extra credits if needed.
