Nicki Minaj’s younger sister Ming Li has responded to criticism from fans after attending Cardi B’s Houston concert during her Little Miss Drama Tour, addressing the backlash in a series of posts on social media.

The reality television personality, known for appearing on Baddies Gone Wild, shared her reaction on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, March 3. Ming dismissed criticism from members of the Barbz, the name used for Nicki Minaj’s fanbase, after her attendance at the show circulated online.

“Yeah, I went to the concert, and I had a great f*cking time…600 pound lady can be mad all she want. Respectfully, irdgaf.”

Ming also said she did not believe she needed to choose between supporting her sister and appreciating Cardi B’s music.

“Who said you can’t love both?”

In another post, she suggested that fans were creating unnecessary drama around the situation and insisted she was not interested in taking sides in the long-running rivalry between the two rappers.

“Pick a side? No side who said u can’t love both? Yall just want a drama that ain’t nobody but the ‘fans’ gonna say Like let’s be fr we grown and when. yall get old and wrinkly what we post ain’t gonna matter so respectlly idgaf.”

Ming added that any tensions between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B would not matter in the long term.

“Not finna matter in the future.”

The Houston concert featured several notable appearances. Cardi B brought Megan Thee Stallion on stage to perform their hit track “WAP”. Another unexpected attendee included the mother of NFL player Stefon Diggs, who previously dated the rapper.

Separately, Nicki Minaj is dealing with legal developments involving her legal representation. According to legal documents reported by TMZ, her attorney Matthew Abbott has filed a motion seeking to withdraw from representing the rapper, citing a “communication breakdown”.

The motion states that Abbott, who is part of the legal team for a new management company hired by Minaj, has not heard from the artist in months. 

The development comes as Minaj faces a $10,000,000 lawsuit brought by a former fan, Tameer Peak. A judge has not yet ruled on Abbott’s request to withdraw, but a deadline has been set for Minaj to respond.

Minaj also faces heightened public scrutiny surrounding her political commentary. In recent months, she has voiced support for US President Donald Trump and appeared at MAGA-related events.
