OP Productions brings a global-standard concert experience to Karachi with FirstLight

OP Productions has announced that Swedish DJ and producer Axwell will headline FirstLight, an international electronic music concert scheduled to be held in Karachi on September 19, 2026.
The event, to be held at Moin Khan Academy, is being positioned by the organisers as Pakistan’s first arena-scale international electronic music event, featuring large-format visuals, purpose-built staging and a production designed to international standards.
Axwell, one of the influential figures in modern electronic music, will headline the event, while Pakistani artists Bilal Brohi, Hazey and Shotbox will provide local support.
According to OP Productions, FirstLight is conceived as a cinematic, sunrise-inspired experience combining electronic music, immersive visuals and a specially designed audience journey.
The event is being produced and creatively directed by OP Productions founder and CEO Omer H. Paracha. The Karachi-based company said the concert is intended to serve as the beginning of a long-term platform for bringing international touring artists to Pakistan.
“FirstLight” is also intended to establish Pakistan as a destination for international touring productions, with OP Productions saying it plans to build on the event with a series of large-scale international concerts.
The organisers described Pakistan as a largely untapped market for global live entertainment, citing its population of more than 240 million and predominantly young demographic as significant potential for the international entertainment industry.
The concert will offer several ticket categories, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Pink, VIP and Platinum. Early-bird tickets will be available at discounted rates for a limited period.
Bronze tickets are priced at Rs6,500 for early-bird buyers, compared with the standard price of Rs8,500. Silver tickets will cost Rs10,500 during the early-bird period against a standard price of Rs12,500, while Gold tickets are priced at Rs14,999 compared with Rs18,500.
The Pink category, priced at Rs12,999 for early birds, will provide a designated section for solo women. VIP tickets will cost Rs25,000 during the early-bird period, while Platinum tickets will be available for Rs45,000.
Tickets will be sold through Ticketwala, while the organisers said the on-sale date would be announced separately.
The venue guidelines require attendees to carry valid identification and their tickets for scanning and to follow security instructions. Outside food and drinks, alcohol, weapons, drugs, large bags, professional cameras, drones and other recording equipment will not be permitted.
The organisers also said there would be no re-entry after leaving the venue.
OP Productions said FirstLight is intended to be more than a one-off concert, describing it as the foundation of a recurring event platform aimed at bringing global music and entertainment experiences to Pakistani audiences.
