The provincial government of Punjab has launched the Electric Bike Scheme 2026 to give 100,000 electric bikes to students across the province.

Girls will get the bikes for free, while boys can buy them through easy monthly payments with no interest.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the scheme at a ceremony in Arifwala. She called it one of the biggest student welfare programmes in the province.

The scheme aims to make travel easier and safer for students and to promote the use of eco-friendly vehicles.

Who Can Apply

• Must be at least 18 years old (some rules allow up to 35 years)
• Must be a regular student at a college or university recognized by HEC
• Must hold a valid Punjab domicile
• Must have a valid motorcycle license or a learners permit
• Must not already own a registered motor vehicle
• Only one bike will be given per family, even if more than one sibling applies

• Fill out the online application form.
