Redmi K100 Pro Rumors Point to 9,000mAh Battery and Premium Flagship Features

Leaks about the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro series are starting to surface again. After early details about the K100 Pro Max in March, the standard K100 Pro has now appeared in fresh reports. These leaks give a clearer picture of what Xiaomi may be preparing for its next flagship lineup.

The Redmi K100 Pro is said to feature an ultra-high refresh rate display with ultra-high resolution. This likely points to a QHD+ screen, although exact details are still unconfirmed. The display is expected to focus on smooth performance and sharp visuals for premium users.

The device will reportedly run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Interestingly, the Pro Max model is expected to use the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor. This shows a clear performance gap between the two models in the lineup.

On the camera side, the K100 Pro may include a 200MP main sensor. It could also feature a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Together, these cameras aim to deliver high-detail photography and improved zoom performance. In addition, the phone is expected to include symmetrical dual stereo speakers with strong output. A large vibration motor and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor are also likely.

Design-wise, the device is said to follow an Apple-inspired approach. The build is expected to focus on a clean and premium look. However, exact design details are still not fully revealed.

Battery performance may be one of the biggest highlights. The K100 Pro is expected to pack a battery starting with 9, meaning between 9,000 mAh and 9,999 mAh. It will reportedly support 100W wired charging. Wireless charging is also expected, possibly at 50W. Additionally, the phone may offer full water resistance. This could include an IP69 rating or both IP68 and IP69 protection.

For context, the Redmi K90 series launched in October last year. Meanwhile, the K100 lineup is expected to arrive in September. As a result, more leaks and updates are likely in the coming weeks. However, pricing details remain unclear, and the devices are not expected to be budget-friendly.
