Megan Thee Stallion appears emotional on ‘Moulin Rouge’ stage amid Klay Thompson split

Earlier, Megan confirmed her breakup from the NBA player after accusing him of cheating

Megan Thee Stallion appeared visibly emotional during a recent performance of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, drawing support from the audience amid news of her breakup with Klay Thompson.

During the April 25 show, the rapper and performer, whose real name is Megan Pete, was seen turning away from the audience and wiping tears from her face as applause filled the theatre.

Audience members responded with encouragement, with voices heard shouting “we love you”.

The moment occurred during a segment where the cast received applause. In footage from the show, fellow performers behind Megan appeared to smile and offer support as she regained composure.

The emotional appearance comes shortly after confirmation that Megan ended her relationship with the NBA player. A representative told TMZ, “I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

Prior to the announcement, Megan had shared a message on Instagram referencing the situation, writing, “Cheating… had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’” and later adding, “I need a REAL break after this one… bye yall.”
