Fitness influencer’s ‘get them banned’ resurfaced clip goes viral as reaction meme online

Peloton instructor Kendall Toole reacted online after her mid-workout outrage went viral again

A resurfaced clip of fitness influencer Kendall Toole repeatedly saying “get them banned” has gone viral again in 2026, spreading rapidly across X as a reaction meme largely divorced from its original context.

The short video shows Toole mid-workout during a live fitness class, visibly angry as she addresses her production team. In the clip, she says, “Get them banned. Get them banned. We don’t do that here,” before adding, “Oh, now I’m pissed. Find out who that is, and get them banned. We don’t do that. I ain’t the one, baby. I take no disrespect.” The intensity of the moment, combined with its brevity, has helped fuel its widespread reuse.

The footage originally dates back to August 2023, when Toole was working as a Peloton instructor. At the time, she was responding to a racist slur posted in the live class chat. While some online speculation initially suggested the outburst was linked to a controversial username, Toole later clarified that her reaction was directed at the comment itself, which violated platform rules and prompted her to have the user removed immediately.

As the clip began circulating again in 2024 and gained renewed momentum in 2026, it took on a new life as a reaction meme, used to express frustration over everything from everyday inconveniences to internet disputes. Much of that sharing occurred without reference to the original incident.

Toole has acknowledged the renewed attention with humour. Reacting to the clip’s resurgence, she wrote that she felt “so honoured” and jokingly dubbed 2026 the year of “#GetThemBanned,” adding, “We stand on business.”

She also shared a light-hearted video of herself laughing at the situation, noting that going viral years later for shutting down hateful behaviour felt like a positive outcome.

While the “get them banned” meme continues to gain traction, other clips of Toole from her Peloton class have also started resurfacing on social media.
