K&N’s SmartCooking Recipes: Cheesy Sausage Bread Cones

Ingredients
-K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage (10-12 sausages)
-Bread slices (10-12)
-Mozzarella cheese (1 cup; grated)
-Bread filling as required
-Red chilli flakes as required
-Spring onions for garnishing
-Garlic butter as required
-Dried parsley for garnishing
Method
1. Thaw K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage as per instructions on pack and cut into small slices. Reserve some slices for garnishing.
2. Mix K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage into the prepared bread filling.
3. Remove the edges of bread slices and flatten with a rolling pin.
4. Brush water lightly on one corner and press together both the corners firmly to make a cone. Make sure to seal the edges properly.
5. Add mozzarella cheese to fill the bottom of cone. Add bread filling and sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top.
6. Top it with K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage slices and sprinkle red chilli flakes.
7. Brush the bread cones generously with garlic butter and bake at 160°C for 3-4 minutes until cheese melts.
8. Garnish with dried parsley and serve.
Garlic Butter Spread Ingredients
-Butter (1 cup; melted)
-Garlic (1 tbsp; minced)
-Dried oregano (1 tsp)
Method
Add all the ingredients in a bowl; mix well and set aside.
Bread Filling Ingredients
-Oil (2 tbsp)
-Garlic (1 tbsp; minced)
-Green bell pepper (1 cup; chopped)
-Onions (1 cup; chopped)
-Black olives (½ cup; chopped)
-Jalapenos (½ cup; chopped)
-Ketchup (1 cup)
-Soy sauce (2 tbsp)
-Red chilli powder (1 tsp)
-Red chilli flakes (1 tbsp)
-Dried parsley (1 tsp)
-Black pepper powder (1 tsp)
-Salt (1 tsp)
Method
1. In a pan, heat oil and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add green bell pepper, onion and cook for a minute. Add black olives and jalapenos; cook for another minute.
2. Add ketchup, soy sauce, red chilli powder, red chilli flakes, dried parsley, black pepper powder, salt and mix well.
3. Add K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage and give it a good toss.
4. Bread filling is ready. Set aside.
