FO hosts award ceremony for Pak–China logo design competition
ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held an award distribution ceremony on Friday for the finalists of the Logo Design Competition, organised as part of the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. Launched in November 2025, the competition drew an overwhelming response, with numerous entries submitted from cities across Pakistan. Following a rigorous shortlisting process, the top three designs were selected for recognition. The awards were presented by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, alongside Jiang Zaidong, Ambassador of China to Pakistan, who congratulated the winners with certificates and cash prizes in appreciation of their creativity and dedication. Speaking at the ceremony, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch lauded the broad participation, highlighting how the competition showcased Pakistan’s creative talent and reflected the strong public engagement with Pakistan–China relations. She emphasized that the event recognized not only artistic excellence but also the role of youth as ambassadors of friendship and goodwill. Ambassador Jiang Zaidong reiterated the enduring friendship and deep-rooted cooperation between Pakistan and China. He also praised the range of events organised this year to mark the milestone 75th anniversary. The year 2026 marks a historic milestone in Pakistan–China relations, celebrating seven and a half decades of diplomatic, cultural, and economic partnership.
