Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s new photos from the Philippines spark buzz ahead of deportation to Russia

Zdorovetskiy will be deported to Russia after serving nine-month sentence in a Philippine prison, officials confirm

After spending more than nine months in a Philippine prison, streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy is set to be deported to Russia following the completion of his sentence.

The controversial Kick streamer, also known as Vitaly, has been cleared for deportation after serving time in custody, according to confirmation from the Philippines’ Department of Interior and Local Government. The decision was reported by the Manila Standard on Thursday, January 15, with officials stating that he is now eligible to leave the country.

Zdorovetskiy appeared at a press conference ahead of his deportation, where he was seen with a markedly different appearance, including a full beard and longer hair than he has previously been known for. His public appearance drew attention online, with images and clips circulating widely on social media.

Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla addressed the case during the briefing, saying, “Let this be a reminder to all our visitors here in the Philippines that while we welcome tourists and treat them with respect, we also expect them to follow our laws, just as we do when we travel abroad.” He added, “We have no ill feelings against Vitaly. He has served his time, shown remorse, and is now a free man when he returns to Russia.”

The Bureau of Immigration has confirmed that a deportation order has been issued, though final clearance is still required from the National Bureau of Investigation. Authorities expect Zdorovetskiy to be deported within the next week.

Zdorovetskiy was arrested last year after livestreaming content that authorities said disrupted public order.

Clips from the broadcast showed him harassing locals, including a traffic officer, and engaging in pranks involving security personnel and a patrol motorcycle.

While in detention, he was reported to have lost a significant amount of weight.
