ISLAMABAD  –  Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s son Suleman Sharif offered a glimpse into his family life on Sunday, putting himself on kitchen duty and making smash burgers for his daughters at home. In a video shared on his public Instagram account, Suleman is seen preparing the burgers for what he billed as a Sunday special, taking on the role of dad-chef for the day.  “Take out time, and make your daughters feel special,” he wrote alongside the video. It was another personal moment from an Instagram feed that gives followers occasional glimpses beyond the Sharif family’s more familiar public and political life. His posts range from travel and books to outdoor pursuits and personal photographs, with family appearances mixed in. Unlike his brother Hamza Shehbaz, a senior PML-N leader and former Punjab chief minister, Suleman has largely remained outside electoral politics and is involved in the family’s business interests. Sunday’s post, however, was decidedly domestic. The agenda was simple: burgers for the daughters. Smash burgers have become a home-cooking favorite, with beef pressed onto a very hot cooking surface to create thin patties with browned, crispy edges. But Suleman’s post was less a cooking lesson than a dad’s message. The burgers were the treat. Making time for his daughters was the point.
