Lahore  – Expressing satisfaction over the formation of the government in Gilgit-Baltistan, General Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab Syed Hassan Murtaza has said that the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party has successfully completed the democratic process in Gilgit-Baltistan with newly-elected Chief Minister Amjad Hussain’s oathtaking. He said election of the new Leader of the House Amjad Hussain and Speaker Imran Nadeem is a victory of democracy. The uncontested election of Amjad Hussain Advocate is a manifestation of the full trust of the people and elected representatives in the PPP. Hassan Murtaza said the historic success of the PPP in Gilgit-Baltistan is due to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Asifa Bibi, and the uncontested election of PPP candidates is a manifestation of the full trust of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan in the PPP. He clarified that the new government of the PPP will ensure sovereignty and property rights in Gilgit-Baltistan and will start a new era of development and prosperity there.
