Photo exhibition marks anniversary of ‘Marka-e-Haq’ in Lahore

LAHORE – A photo exhibition marking the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” was held at the Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) under the auspices of the Pakistan Federal Union of Columnists (PFUC) on Saturday. Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest. The event was attended by a large number of political figures, journalists, academics, civil society members and students. On that occasion, The University of Lahore (UOL) Chairman Awais Raoof, PFUC Chairman Farrukh Shahbaz Warraich, Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, senior journalists Salman Ghani, Najam Wali Khan and Isar Rana. Those also present included ARAR Group of Companies CEO Hamayun Sarwar, Cheezious CEO Imran Ijaz, Chiltan Pure Pakistan CEO Najam Mazari, Shamaila Rana, Uzma Kardar, Syed Hassan Murtaza, Jawad Ahmad, veteran actor Rashid Mehmood, Brigadier (R) Nadir Mir, Brigadier (R) Syed Ghazanfar Ali and along with members of civil society, students, and a large number of people from different walks of life, attended the ceremony. Students displayed artwork and paintings depicting events described as part of the Pakistan-India confrontation, paying tribute to the armed forces and state institutions.
