Culture dept organises photo exhibition to mark Marka-e-Haq
HYDERABAD – On the directives of Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the Culture Department has organised a photo exhibition at the Sindh Museum Hyderabad to commemorate the historic day of “Marka-e-Haq.” The exhibition will continue from May 6 to May 10, 2026. According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the event commenced with a flag-hoisting ceremony and memorial tree plantation, carried out by Director Sindh Museum Hyderabad Zulfiqar Ali Panhwar. Speaking on the occasion, he said that keeping the memory of “Marka-e-Haq” alive serves as a source of inspiration for future generations and helps promote national awareness. A large number of citizens, students, cultural figures and distinguished guests attended the exhibition. Participants paid tribute to the heroes of “Marka-e-Haq” and highlighted the significance of the historic day. Officials of the Culture Department stated that the aim of the exhibition was to acquaint the younger generation with national history and to highlight the sacrifices made in the defense of the country.
