The second season finale of Daredevil: Born Again has been released, with attention now turning to confirmed plans for a third season on Disney+.

According to reports, Season 3 is already in production, although an official release date has not been announced. 

The next instalment is expected to premiere in 2027, with showrunner Dario Scardapane indicating that multiple new villains will be introduced as the storyline expands.

The Season 2 finale centred on Matt Murdock defending Karen Page in court while confronting Wilson Fisk’s growing political power.

The episode concluded with Fisk forced into retreat following legal pressure and public unrest, while Murdock revealed his identity as Daredevil in court. In the closing scenes, he is arrested and taken to prison, setting up a significant shift in narrative direction.

This ending is expected to play a central role in Season 3, with the storyline likely to explore Murdock’s time in custody and the wider consequences for New York City.

Reports suggest that the introduction of new antagonists could include the character Lady Muse, with speculation that Heather Glenn may be connected to the role following hints in the finale.

Showrunner Scardapane told The Direct that the upcoming season will broaden its scope through additional threats, indicating a more complex conflict ahead.

The prison setting teased in the finale may also provide opportunities for crossovers and new character dynamics, particularly as Murdock’s allies continue operating outside.

All episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 are currently available to stream on Disney+, with the finale marking a turning point for the series.
