Meghan Markle’s Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, has failed to secure a 2026 Daytime Emmy Award despite receiving a nomination in the Outstanding Lifestyle Programme category.

The Duchess of Sussex’s cooking and lifestyle show lost the award to A Different Breed, a programme centred on dogs.

The result prompted criticism on social media, with some users questioning the show’s nomination.

“She should never have been nominated in the first place,” one user wrote on X, while another reacted to the outcome by saying, “That is hilarious.”

Meghan had earlier celebrated the show’s Emmy nomination in an Instagram post on July 15, expressing appreciation for the production team behind the Netflix series.

“A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on ‘With Love, Meghan’ on @netflix,” she wrote.

“We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!” she added.

The award loss comes amid reports of an ongoing investigation involving allegations of child pornography against her father, Thomas Markle.
