Hudson Williams addresses whether he has romantic feelings for ‘Heated Rivalry’ via co-star Connor Storrie

The 25-year-old actor addressed the question during his appearance on CBC’s ‘The Assembly‘

Hudson Williams has spoken candidly about his close relationship with Heated Rivalry co-star Connor Storrie after being asked whether their friendship had ever developed into something romantic.

The 25-year-old actor addressed the question during his appearance on CBC’s The Assembly, which features celebrities and public figures answering questions from interviewers on the autism spectrum.

The episode premiered on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

During the interview, Williams was asked directly: “Did you ever feel something for Connor that was ‘more than friendship?’”

Responding thoughtfully, the actor explained that the pair had developed a particularly strong friendship rather than romantic feelings.

“No. Quickly, me and Connor realized we were, like, platonic soulmates, just completely in love with each other. I think that’s what made our friendship so stable and beautiful, is that we realized we could be completely ourselves, be completely guard down,” Hudson shared.

He continued by describing the affection and comfort they shared, adding: “So, I think the thing that made our relationship as rich as it was is, like, me and that man could cuddle for ten hours, and it just mean cuddling, just mean we just love each other dearly, but don’t wanna beep each other’s bop.”

“That’s not a saying,” he added, prompting laughter from the interviewers.

Williams and Storrie have previously discussed their close friendship during promotional interviews for the series.

The pair are currently filming the second season of Heated Rivalry, following the success of its debut season.
