Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber hold hands in first public outing since son Presley’s death
Their appearance comes three weeks after Presley died on September 20 at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica
Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, have been photographed holding hands during their first public outing together since the death of their son, Presley Gerber, at the age of 27.
The supermodel, 60, and the businessman, 64, were spotted walking along Zuma Beach in Malibu, California, on Saturday, 10 October. The couple kept a low profile during the outing, wearing casual outfits as they walked side by side.
Crawford wore a white long-sleeved top, black leggings, trainers and a baseball cap, while Gerber opted for a white T-shirt, black athletic shorts, trainers and a matching cap. Photographs published by People showed the longtime couple holding hands during their walk.
Their appearance comes three weeks after Presley died on September 20 at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, California. He was 27. According to the Santa Monica Police Department, detectives were investigating his death as a suspected overdose, with authorities reporting no indication of foul play.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has yet to determine the official cause and manner of death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Crawford and Gerber, who married in 1998, also share daughter Kaia Gerber, 25. The family has largely remained out of the public eye since Presley’s death, with a representative previously requesting privacy during what was described as a very difficult and painful time.
A source previously told People that Crawford was heartbroken and completely in shock following her son’s death. Other sources have described the family’s close relationship and their efforts to support Presley through his struggles with mental health and addiction.
Presley had spoken publicly about his experiences with mental health and substance abuse, using social media to discuss his recovery and encourage conversations about issues that people often find difficult to address.
George Clooney, Gerber’s longtime friend and business partner, also addressed the family’s loss during an appearance at the Albies in London on 9 October. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actor described Presley’s death as one of the most devastating experiences for their family.
Clooney and his wife, Amal, have reportedly been supporting Crawford and Gerber in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Although the couple have not publicly discussed their son’s death in detail, their latest appearance marks their first public outing together since the loss. The photographs offer a glimpse of the pair as they navigate a deeply difficult period while continuing to receive support from friends and family.
