LAHORE    –  The Punjab government has approved expansion of the restoration and uplift project of the historic Kamran’s Baradari, increasing its area from five acres to 15 acres. Under the project, the historic site will be preserved while being developed as a modern recreational facility. Officials said the project included garden-style landscaping, decorative lighting, and parking facilities to enhance the area’s public appeal. The authorities have directed that the original architecture and historical integrity of Kamran’s Baradari be preserved throughout the restoration work. The project was being implemented with the support of the Archaeology Department, Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA).
