NEW YORK  –  Suri Cruise ditched the surname of her father, Tom Cruise. According to Radar Online, the Mission Impossible star’s daughter, Suri, abandoned the Cruise surname just days after his 64th birthday. In a published report by the New York Post on July 27, 2026, it was mentioned that Pennsylvania voter registration data shows that the 20 year old is listed as Suri Noelle, her mother’s middle name, revealing that she has legally changed her surname. Furthermore, the name Suri Noelle is not something new, cause the daughter has already used it in 2024 during her high school graduation program. As it has been thirteen since their estrangement, a source reflected, “Some see it as Suri’s way of getting revenge.”  “It’s about wanting to be recognized in her own right,” the source claimed. Adding, “Tom is one of the most famous guys on the planet, so of course it’s been difficult to cope with the reality that he’s not a part of her life.”

“Suri found ways to stay strong without him,” the insider further claimed.  It is pertinent to mention that the Hollywood star’s third wife, Katie Holmes, the mother of Suri Cruise, was married to him in 2006, and their marriage lasted almost six years. Moreover, Katie filed for divorce on June 29, 2012 when the actress’ daughter was six years old. Apparently, Katie received primary custody of Suri. “Suri is used to Tom being away for work, so this is nothing new,” reported a source at the time.  Noting, “Katie has delicately told her that Mommy and Daddy will spend time apart, but Suri will still see him. She’s trying to let her adjust to this easily.”  However, things didn’t turn out as planned because the Hollywood icon was last publicly photographed with Suri in September 2013.
