Tom Segura speaks out about Christina Pazsitzky divorce, calls split a ‘horrible experience’

News of their split after 18 years of marriage emerged in July, with reports stating that the pair had parted amicably

Tom Segura has spoken publicly about his divorce from Christina Pazsitzky, describing their separation as a difficult emotional experience after 18 years of marriage.

Segura discussed the split during Wednesday’s episode of the Your Mom’s House podcast, titled “Your Dad’s House”.

The 47-year-old comedian called the separation a “horrible experience” and said the “awful” breakup had been “emotionally, a rollercoaster”.

“You don’t feel the same all the time. It’s really tough on you,” Segura said, adding that the separation had occurred “many months” ago.

Segura also addressed criticism over his decision not to appear on the podcast episode where Pazsitzky previously discussed their separation.

He said the former couple had been “recording episodes separately for a long time” and explained that “since her episode was first, she addressed it first.”

News of their split emerged in July, with reports stating that the pair had remained “completely amicable”.

The former couple, who share two sons, Ellis and Julian, are also continuing to work together through their YMH Studios podcast network.

Pazsitzky, 50, previously described the divorce as “extremely sad” while discussing it on her podcast.

“Yes, Tom and I are divorcing, and it is extremely sad,” she said.

She added, “We gave it all we could, but we just couldn’t work things out.”

Segura said their relationship remains cooperative despite the separation. “We’re not combative,” he said. “We talk every day. I support Christina in everything she does, [and] she supports me.”

Segura also made clear that he does not intend to discuss the divorce publicly again, saying, “This is it for me. I’m not gonna talk about this [more].”
