Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee spark buzz after being spotted filming lesbian rom-com in London

Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee have been spotted filming an untitled romantic comedy in London, with the project reportedly centred on a relationship between two women.

The Silo star and Late Fame actress were seen filming at Horse Guards Parade, although no studio or production company has publicly confirmed details about the project.

Lee previously appeared to hint at the film during a conversation with Willem Dafoe for Interview Magazine.

Asked about her current work, she said, “It’s a romance, but it’s between two women, and I haven’t done that before,” before adding, “Full on, baby. I’m doing my stretches.”

The comments, combined with the London filming, have fuelled speculation that Ferguson and Lee will play the central characters in the romantic comedy.

The film’s title, director, wider cast and release date remain unconfirmed.

For Ferguson, the project would represent a move into a different genre after years of work across action, science fiction and television. Her recent credits include the Mission: Impossible and Dune franchises, as well as the Apple TV+ series Silo.

Lee has recently appeared in Late Fame opposite Dafoe. The film, directed by Kent Jones and written by Samy Burch, is based on an Arthur Schnitzler novella adapted to a contemporary New York setting.

The London production has generated interest among fans, although further details have yet to be officially announced.

For now, set footage and Lee’s comments provide the clearest indications of what Ferguson and Lee may be working on together.
