Alhamra honours veteran actor Firdous Jamal’s contributions



LAHORE – Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) Executive Director Muhammad Nawaz Gondal Tuesday met  veteran actor Firdous Jamal and discussed measures to promote arts and culture, support emerging talent and preserve Pakistan’s artistic heritage. During the meeting, both exchanged views on strengthening cultural activities and enhancing  the role of cultural institutions in fostering creativity and inspiring future generations.  On the occasion, the ED described Firdous Jamal as a national treasure whose contributions to television, theatre and the performing arts had enriched Pakistan’s cultural landscape.  Firdous Jamal appreciated Alhamra’s services for the promotion of arts and culture and termed the institution a beacon of artistic excellence providing opportunities for creativity and emerging talent.
