Mariska Hargitay has become the latest subject of Taylor Swift wedding speculation after fans noticed a notable gap in the actress’s Broadway schedule, according to Page Six.

The Law & Order: SVU star was recently seen courtside with Swift at Madison Square Garden as the New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4.

The pair wore matching “Stevie Knicks” T-shirts and were joined by Alana and Este Haim, who sported shirts reading “Knickelback” and “Knicole Kidman”.

The speculation began after fans observed that Hargitay’s one-woman Broadway production, Every Brilliant Thing, is scheduled to be dark on July 3. The date coincides with reports claiming Swift is set to marry NFL star Travis Kelce during the Independence Day holiday weekend.

While neither Swift, Kelce nor Hargitay has commented on the rumours, fans quickly linked the scheduling gap to the reported wedding plans.

Hargitay and Swift have maintained a close friendship for more than a decade, making her a likely guest should the ceremony take place.

Their friendship extends beyond public appearances. Swift famously named one of her Scottish Fold cats Olivia Benson after Hargitay’s character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, while Hargitay named her own cat Karma after Swift’s hit song.

The actress also appeared in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video in 2015 and joined the singer on stage during the 1989 World Tour in Philadelphia.

Hargitay’s recent appearance at the Knicks game also drew attention after she revealed the lengths she went to in order to attend following a busy day on Broadway.

Although the wedding reports remain unconfirmed, Hargitay’s availability on the reported date has only added to growing interest surrounding Swift and Kelce’s future plans.
