Heeseung rebrands as EVAN amid solo career launch after ENHYPEN exit

The development comes after Heeseung officially left ENHYPEN on 10 March to pursue a solo career

Former ENHYPEN member Heeseung has signalled a new chapter in his career after unveiling a rebrand under the stage name EVAN, following his recent departure from the group.

On April 8, the artist launched a new Instagram account, sharing a profile video alongside a series of stylised images. The content featured close-up shots of his elbow, eyes and wrist, as well as a short clip of him looking directly into the camera, presenting a minimalist and artistic concept that drew attention from fans.

The inclusion of the name EVAN in his post has been widely interpreted as confirmation of a new stage identity, suggesting a shift in creative direction as he prepares for solo activities.

The development comes after Heeseung officially left ENHYPEN on March 10. His agency, BELIFT LAB, confirmed at the time that the decision was made to allow him to pursue a solo career. Following his exit, the group reorganised into a six-member lineup consisting of Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki.

Prior to his departure, Heeseung addressed fans directly, outlining his future plans in music. “I am preparing an album so I can meet you again soon. I will always carry your love in my heart as I move forward,” he said, signalling his continued commitment to performing.

The rebranding effort, combined with his recent statements, indicates that preparations for his solo debut are already underway. While further details about the project remain undisclosed, the launch of his new social media presence suggests a carefully planned transition into the next phase of his career.
