National ranking table tennis tournament begins in Islamabad

The Pakistan National Ranking Table Tennis Tournament will be held from 5th to 8th February 2026 at the NUML University Gymnasium (Gate 3).
The event is being hosted by the Islamabad Table Tennis Association, in collaboration with Tibhar Table Tennis Academy.
Top-ranked men’s and women’s players from across Pakistan will participate in this prestigious tournament, making it a highly competitive national event.
Rafique Sarhadi, Secretary of the Islamabad Table Tennis Association, appreciated the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation for taking such a progressive initiative and for its commitment to bringing positive change in line with international standards.
He also briefed the media on the arrangements for the event and shared that the tournament has received an overwhelming response, with remarkable entries and encouragement from players nationwide.
He further stated that the introduction of a structured national ranking system will elevate the game to world-class standards by ensuring fair, transparent, and unbiased results, paving the way for the development of international-level table tennis in Pakistan.
