Schedule for 14th Lahore Literary Festival released


LAHORE   –  The management of the Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) has released the official schedule for the 14th edition of the festival, set to be held from February 6 to 8 at the Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore. Recognised as Pakistan’s largest and most internationally acclaimed literary festival, LLF will once again bring the country to the centre of global literary and cultural discourse. The three-day event will feature participation from scholars, writers, poets, researchers and professionals from more than 15 countries, underscoring the festival’s role as a platform for intellectual exchange and cross-cultural dialogue. According to the programme, the festival will host over 60 sessions covering a broad range of themes, including society, economy, politics, science, history, medicine, civilisation, languages, literature, arts and culture, global affairs and climate change.

, alongside other contemporary issues. More than 12 sessions will be conducted in Urdu and Punjabi, reflecting a strong emphasis on regional languages within an international setting. The festival will also witness the launch of over 12 national and international books, further contributing to Pakistan’s literary and publishing landscape. LLF Chief Executive Officer Razi Ahmed said the festival serves as a bridge between Pakistan and global intellectual currents, adding that progress in the modern world depends on dialogue and the exchange of ideas. “The Lahore Literary Festival plays an important role in connecting Pakistan to this global process,” he said.

Executive Director Alhamra Arts Council Muhammad Nawaz Gondal said the institution was honoured to host delegates from around the world and would utilise all administrative and technical resources to ensure the event is organised to the highest standards.
