Murree Roads cleared, life returns to normal, says DPO Dr. Raza Sipra

District Police Officer (DPO) Murree, Dr. Muhammad Raza Tanveer Sipra, has announced that all roads in Murree have been cleared following joint efforts by the district administration, rescue agencies, and the police. As bright sunshine emerged, the influx of tourists intensified, while police and security agencies remained on high alert along the highways to ensure the safety and guidance of visitors.
In an official statement, DPO Murree Dr. Muhammad Raza Tanveer Sipra noted that all institutions worked in unison to tackle the challenges posed by the recent snowfall. As a result, all link roads are now fully open for traffic.
Commenting on the security situation and tourist facilitation, he stated, “The protection of tourists is our top priority. Police and all relevant security agencies are present in the field and available at every turn to provide guidance and assistance. In case of any difficulty, tourists can immediately approach the officers on duty.”
Dr. Muhammad Raza Tanveer Sipra further added that special contingents of the Murree Police and Traffic Police are working day and night to maintain the smooth flow of traffic. He urged tourists to strictly follow the precautionary measures issued by the district administration to ensure a safe and pleasant journey.
The weather in Murree remains highly pleasant, and all arrangements are in place to keep the access routes open for the continuous movement of tourists.
