Sialkot’s heritage sites to be revived for tourism
SIALKOT – Punjab Secretary Tourism Socrat Aman Rana on Saturday said that historical and cultural heritage sites of Sialkot are being revived to promote tourism and highlight the city’s rich history. During his visit, the secretary inspected several important sites, including Sialkot Fort, Iqbal Manzil, Shawala Teja Singh, and Government Lady Anderson School. Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali accompanied him during the tour. Speaking on the occasion, Socrat Aman Rana said Sialkot is a historically significant city with immense potential to attract local and foreign tourists, including visitors from different religious backgrounds. He said restoration and development of heritage sites would help transform Sialkot into a key tourist destination.
