MULTAN   –  The Punjab Food Authority, in collaboration with Food Science and Nutrition Department Bahauddin Zakariya University, is going to organise the first-ever Multani Sohan Halwa festival on January 30. The event would be held at faculty of food sciences & Nutrition department BZU. The proposed festival aimed to create awareness among citizens, exporters, and food experts regarding the identification of genuine and high-quality Multani Sohan Halwa. The suppliers, makers, exporters , consumers and researchers were urged to participate in the festival. Director Operations PFA South Punjab, Rameez Zafar, stated that introducing the public to safe, original, and quality food products was top priority. He emphasized that initiatives would be taken to promote balanced and healthy dietary practices.
