Gracie Abrams says she’s ‘beyond ready’ for her next album

Gracie Abrams is officially teasing her next musical chapter, revealing that she’s “beyond ready” for her upcoming third album — often referred to by fans as GA3 — even though a release date has not yet been announced. The 26‑year‑old singer‑songwriter spoke openly about her excitement and creative mindset as she prepares to share new music with the world, offering insight into how deeply connected she feels to her latest work and the process behind it.

“I’m beyond ready for it to belong to everyone else,” Abrams said in a recent interview, expressing her eagerness for fans to finally hear the songs she’s been crafting. “I’ve never felt this way about anything I’ve made before, so it’s definitely driving me crazy in a good way.”

When asked how she’s feeling about the build‑up to releasing her new album, the songwriter said she’s embracing the anticipation rather than letting it intimidate her. “I love the feeling. I really like it right now. I think I feel kind of calm about it,” she explained, suggesting a sense of confidence and joy as she nears the finish line creatively.

Abrams also highlighted the importance of collaboration and the people she works with in the studio. “At the end of the day, it’s all about the people you get to make things with and spend your time with, and that means the most to me right now,” she said. “So, yeah, any day in the studio is a great day.”

Although she has yet to disclose specific collaborators for this project, Abrams has a history of working with producer Aaron Dessner of The National on her first two LPs — Good Riddance (2023) and The Secret of Us (2024) — both of which helped establish her as a standout voice in modern pop songwriting.
