I couldn’t do this without you

Chalamet declared his loved for Jenner in his Best Actor speech after winning for ‘Marty Supreme’

Timothée Chalamet publicly expressed his affection for Kylie Jenner while accepting the Best Actor award at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards on Sunday evening.

The actor was recognised for his performance in Marty Supreme and appeared visibly nervous as he addressed the audience, offering acknowledgements to fellow nominees Michael B. Jordan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Joel Edgerton and Wagner Moura. As his speech drew to a close, Chalamet turned his attention to Jenner, who was seated in the audience and attending the ceremony alongside him.

“Lastly, I would like to say thank you to my partner of three years,” Chalamet said. “Thank you for our foundation.” He then added, “I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The camera cut to Jenner, who smiled, clasped her hands beneath her chin and mouthed “I love you” back in response. Jenner accompanied Chalamet to the ceremony wearing a black gown with lace side insets, while the actor wore a pinstripe suit paired with a colourful tie.

This marked Chalamet’s first Critics Choice Award win following four previous nominations. The couple, who were first linked in early 2023, have gradually become more open about their relationship over the past year. Jenner recently supported Chalamet at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, where the two exchanged public displays of support on social media.

Chalamet has also received visible support from Jenner’s family. He was additionally included in the family’s Christmas celebrations, with his name appearing on the Kardashian-Jenner gingerbread house for the first time.
