Dry, hot weather persists in City
LAHORE – Dry and hot weather persisted in the provincial capital on Saturday, and the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast similar conditions over the next 24 hours. According to the PMD officials, the maximum temperature in the city reached 37°C, while the minimum was recorded at 24°C. They said the weather is likely to remain partly cloudy, with intermittent interaction between sunshine and cloud cover. However, the likelihood of rainfall remains minimal, and as a result, the prevailing heat is expected to continue. Officials further stated that similar weather patterns are likely to persist over the coming days, with a mix of clouds and sunshine dominating the sky. They warned that temperatures may rise further, intensifying the heat across the city.
