Old Ravians Union reviews arrangements for annual dinner

LAHORE – An extraordinary session of the Executive Committee of the Old Ravians Union was convened to review and finalise arrangements for the much-anticipated Annual Dinner hosted by the Union. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Old Ravians Union, Mr Athar Ismail, and held at the conference room of the historic campus. The session was attended by key office-bearers and members of the Executive Committee, who deliberated in detail on various organisational and logistical aspects of the forthcoming event.
During the meeting, the Executive Committee was informed that all necessary arrangements for the Annual Dinner have been completed in a comprehensive and satisfactory manner. However, it was unanimously decided that the official date for the event will be announced immediately following the withdrawal of the Government’s notification imposing restrictions on large gatherings. These restrictions were introduced in light of the prevailing regional security concerns and the ongoing energy crisis arising from the US-Iran standoff. As per the proposed plan, the Annual Dinner is expected to be a grand and prestigious gathering, bringing together more than 1,000 distinguished Old Ravians from across the globe. The event aims to provide a platform for alumni to reconnect, celebrate their shared legacy, and strengthen professional and social networks. The evening will feature a formal dinner followed by performances by internationally renowned artists, promising an engaging and memorable experience for all attendees. The Old Ravians Union remains committed to hosting the event at the highest standards and will keep its members informed regarding further developments and the final schedule.
