LAHORE   –  Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) Executive Director (ED) Mu­hammad Nawaz Gondal has urged citizens to strengthen national identity, preserve cultural values and remain committed to the ideological foundations of Pakistan. In his message on the occasion of the Pakistan Day, he said Pakistan Day reminds the nation of the historic Lahore Resolution, when the Muslims of the Sub-continent envisioned a free and sovereign homeland, add­ing that this defining moment played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s identity. He not­ed that in the present rapidly changing global environment, the relevance of this ideology has become even more signifi­cant, stressing the need to re­inforce core values and intel­lectual traditions. The ED said Pakistan’s true strength lies in its rich civilization, vibrant culture, diverse languages, lit­erature and fine arts, which col­lectively define its unique na­tional character. He highlighted that the Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) is actively playing its role in preserving and pro­moting this cultural heritage by providing a platform where various art forms converge, fos­tering creativity, harmony and national cohesion.
