Latto announces pregnancy and ‘Big Mama’ album set for May release

The reveal confirms online speculation, which intensified after her previously confirmed relationship with 21 Savage

Latto has confirmed she is pregnant while announcing her upcoming album Big Mama, signalling a significant moment in both her personal life and music career.

The Grammy-nominated Atlanta rapper revealed the news on March 20 alongside details of the album, which is scheduled for release on May 29.

The announcement followed a teaser shared earlier on Instagram, where a short clip hinted at a midnight reveal. The video featured a baby cheetah being bottle-fed, alongside a brief appearance of Latto’s heels, leaving fans speculating about the meaning.

The reveal confirms months of online speculation, which intensified after her previously confirmed relationship with 21 Savage. Earlier in 2026, she also shared a playful Instagram Story featuring a prosthetic baby bump, further fuelling discussion among fans.

Shortly after confirming the pregnancy, Latto released a new single titled “Business & Personal”. The track maintains her established style, combining confident delivery with direct lyricism, and was met with immediate engagement across social media platforms.

Fan reactions online have been largely positive. The combined announcement has generated strong anticipation ahead of the album’s release later this year.
