The federal government has issued new office timings for all departments to be followed after Ramadan, with the revised schedule taking effect immediately and remaining until further instructions.

Offices operating on a five-day workweek will function from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, while departments on a six-day week will observe timings from 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Saturday.

In both work schedules, a combined lunch and prayer break has been set from 1:00pm to 1:30pm, as officially notified by the Establishment Division and applied to all relevant federal offices.

Federal offices will resume operations on Tuesday following the four-day holiday, ensuring standardized work hours and consistent schedules across departments after Ramadan.

On February 16, the federal government issued adjusted office hours for all departments during Ramadan, specifying shorter working hours to accommodate the schedule and practices.

For offices on a five-day workweek, Monday to Thursday hours were from 9:00am to 3:00pm, while Fridays operated from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

Six-day offices functioned from 9:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Thursday and Saturday, with Fridays following the same shorter timing.
