LAAM Fashion Week 2026 concludes with new benchmark

LAHORE – LAAM Fashion Week (LFW), Pakistan’s first runway-to-e-tail fashion platform, successfully concluded its inaugural four-day edition in Lahore on Tuesday, establishing a new benchmark for how Pakistani fashion is showcased, commercialised, and taken global. Designed as a comprehensive representation of Pakistan’s fashion ecosystem, LAAM Fashion Week brought together high-street and prêt brands, manufacturing labels that have completed the LFW Ramp Readiness Programme (RRP), retail powerhouses, luxury fashion houses, couture ateliers, and bridal designers. Across four days, the platform reflected the full depth, diversity, and maturity of Pakistani fashion today. Built on the belief that craft, creativity, and commerce must coexist, LFW paired Pakistan’s rich artisan heritage with a modern, digital-first retail model, enabling real-time global access, discovery, and consumer engagement. All shows were streamed live worldwide across 120+ countries and 7,800+ cities, marking the largest global broadcast of Pakistani fashion to date. Day 1 opened with LFW Presents, a curated showcase featuring 26 iconic garments from designers and brands that shaped entire decades of Pakistani fashion. Positioned as a cultural archive rather than nostalgia, the showcase honoured fashion as memory, influence, and legacy. The day culminated with designer presentations by The House of Kamiar Rokni, SUMMAT, Mo by Mohsin Tawasuli, and a finale by Saira Shakira, celebrating expressive couture and contemporary femininity. Day 4, the grand finale, brought together high-street brands Amna Ilyas, Meerak, Mohagni, and Bulbul, followed by retail showcases from Rang e Haya, Mushq, and Haseens. The final designer segment featured Nomi Ansari, Zainab Chottani, and Souchaj by Mehak Junaid, before concluding with the grand finale collection Musafir by HSY- a powerful exploration of journey, identity and cultural continuity rooted in Pakistan’s diverse regions and traditions. In line with LFW’s runway-to-e-tail model, all high-street, prêt, manufacturing, and retail collections became available for purchase immediately following their runway showcases through LAAM’s digital platform. Luxury and bridal collections will be released for retail in a phased manner, aligned with each brand’s production timelines and bespoke craftsmanship processes. This integrated model ensures that visibility is translated into access, longevity, and commercial sustainability – addressing long-standing gaps between runway presentation and retail conversion in Pakistan’s fashion industry.
The first edition of LAAM Fashion Week reflects a deeper and more meaningful shift within Pakistan’s fashion industry, one where years of growth, scale and commercial maturity have created the confidence for Pakistani brands to invest back into their own ecosystem. With Pakistan’s leading fashion platform LAAM at the forefront, and retail brands Haseens and J. stepping forward in support, alongside Pakistani partners Skynet, PostEx, IGI General Insurance, and food partner SALT, LFW marks a moment where the industry begins to actively shape and sustain its future through indigenous, industry-led growth. LAAM Fashion Week is co-founded by LAAM and Design651, with HSY as Event Director, Nabila and N-Gents as Official Style Partners, Maheen Kardar as Designer Experience Director, Kollaage Concepts as OOH Partner, Lotus as Strategic Communications Partner, and livestream and connectivity by AI Solutions. Indeed, LAAM Fashion Week positions itself as a long-term fashion platform, one that connects designers to global audiences, creativity to commerce, and legacy to the future. The second LFW is scheduled to take place in Q4 of 2026.
