LAHORE  –  An intriguing art exhibition was opened at Coopera Art Gallery on Thursday, which was organised by Visual Art Department, Government Graduate College for Women (GGCW), Gulberg. About seven dozen fascinating artworks of faculty and thesis of batch 2022-26 were beautifully put on display. Prof. Rahat Naveed Masud a prominent painter and art education inaugurated the exhibition and highly praised the work. She said that such exhibitions are extremely important to encourage the upcoming artists. The Guest of Honour Dr Nighat Naheed  Zafar, Principal of the College also liked the showcased work, which comprised of different interesting and meaningful themes, unusual materials and techniques. This vibrant show was curated by Prof Sarosh Tariq, HOD, Visual Arts Department of GGCW, Gulberg, Lahore. The Gallery Director and well known artist Muhammad Javed while talking  said that our efforts are to promote appreciation of art and literature and this exhibition is one of the event which certainly motivate the new talents. Large numbers of artists, art lovers, teachers and students were found taking keen interest in the artworks at the inaugural ceremony. The names of participants faculty are Sarosh Tariq, Farah Ahmad, Ghazala Anjam, Sadia Qutb, Nomana Masood and Uzma Munir, whereas, Momna Rafique, S. Mehak Fatima, Ayesha Bibi, Mehnaz Niaz, Laiba Abid, Tayyaba Hayat, Sahar Javed, Fiza Hafeez, Ayesha Ahmad and Aroona Sumuel are the final year students.

The exhibition will remain open at Coopera Art Gallery daily except holidays from 10.30 AM to 6.00 PM  until September 30, 2026.
