BTS V sends South Asian fans into frenzy with comments about India, Pakistan and Bangladesh

V said he wants to visit India while also speaking about food and tourist attractions in Pakistan and Bangladesh

BTS member V has expressed his interest in South Asia, delighting fans also known as ARMY across the subcontinent with comments about the food and tourist attractions in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The singer, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, shared his thoughts during an interaction with fans on Weverse on July 16. When an Indian fan asked whether BTS would visit the country, V replied that he wants to go to India.

Although no additional tour dates of BTS’ Arirang World Tour have been announced, the comment sparked widespread discussion among the group’s fanbase.

V also spoke about neighbouring countries in South Asia during the exchange. He mentioned Pakistani dishes, including biryani and karahi, while discussing local cuisine that he would like to try.

Turning his attention to Bangladesh, the singer referred to several well-known tourist attractions after researching the country. He highlighted Cox’s Bazar Beach, one of the world’s longest natural sea beaches, and the Pink Palace Museum as places that had caught his interest.

The interaction was warmly received by fans across the region, many of whom said they appreciated V’s interest in South Asian culture, food and travel destinations.

BTS has a large and dedicated fanbase throughout India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, but the group has yet to perform in any of those countries.

V’s latest comments have renewed hopes among regional fans that future tour plans could include South Asia, although neither BTS nor its management has announced any concerts in the region.
