Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake’s son Adonis, has married professional Muay Thai fighter Efe Caliskan in a private ceremony held in Toronto.

Brussaux and Caliskan exchanged vows on Father’s Day in North York, Toronto, surrounded by close family and friends. It remains unclear whether Drake or the couple’s son, Adonis, attended the wedding.

The ceremony marks a new chapter for Brussaux, who has maintained a positive co-parenting relationship with the Canadian rapper since the birth of their son in October 2017. Drake and Brussaux were never in a long-term relationship before or after her pregnancy.

Caliskan is a professional Muay Thai fighter who recently made his mixed martial arts debut in Canada, securing a unanimous decision victory. The couple have previously shared videos on social media showing themselves training and sparring together.

Brussaux’s wedding ring featured a seven-carat pear-shaped diamond designed by Zaid Jewels.

Images shared online showed the newlyweds celebrating with family and friends following the ceremony.

Drake’s paternity of Adonis became public in 2018 following a paternity test. The rapper later addressed the situation on “March 14”, a track from his album Scorpion.

“She’s not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine. Sandi [his mother] used to tell me all it takes is one time, and all it took was one time. S***, we only met two times, two times,” he raps in the song.

Over the years, Drake and Brussaux have frequently been praised by fans for their co-parenting relationship. The rapper regularly appears with Adonis at public events, including basketball games and concerts, while both parents have remained actively involved in their son’s upbringing.
