Sykkuno returns to Twitch after cheating allegations, addressing relationship recovery
Sykkuno returns to Twitch, discusses relationship recovery and reflects on fallout from cheating scandal
Sykkuno has returned to Twitch after nearly two months away from streaming, using his first broadcast back to address the cheating allegations that emerged earlier this year and to update viewers on his relationship.
The streamer went live on June 3 2026 in a two-and-a-half-hour broadcast titled “I’M BACK.” Opening the stream, Sykkuno admitted he felt nervous about returning and spoke about the work he has done during his absence.
“What I did to her was horrible,” he said. “For a lot of people, they could never forgive that. I regret doing it so much. In the time I’ve been gone, I’ve been working every single day to try to make things better.”
Sykkuno said that while “not everything’s perfect”, he believes significant progress has been made in repairing his relationship.
He told viewers that he and his girlfriend are now “doing a lot better” and are moving forward together.
“We’re in a position where we can be happy together and we’re headed in a good direction,” he continued. “I wouldn’t be coming back to streaming if both of us didn’t feel that way.”
After thanking supporters for their patience and encouragement, Sykkuno spent the remainder of the broadcast playing video games. He later said he was still uncertain about his future streaming schedule.
The controversy began in April 2026 when VTuber Hemomal publicly accused Sykkuno of being a “serial cheater, liar, and manipulator” and shared a document detailing their alleged relationship.
The claims quickly gained attention online and prompted similar allegations from other creators.
Sykkuno publicly responded on April 16, admitting he had been “unfaithful” to his partner. In a joint statement, his girlfriend confirmed she would remain in the relationship despite the controversy.
He also urged fans not to direct harassment towards anyone involved and rejected what he described as “false accusations” and “extreme labels” attached to the situation.
The allegations led to criticism from several high-profile creators, including Pokimane, Valkyrae and Disguised Toast.
Sykkuno’s latest appearance marks his first live broadcast since the allegations surfaced and represents his most detailed public comments on the state of his relationship since stepping away.
