Drake fan suffers meltdown as rapper’s convoy passes in Toronto ahead of ‘ICEMAN’ release

The reaction comes as anticipation builds for Drake’s upcoming album ICEMAN ahead of its May release

A video showing a Drake fan becoming emotional as the rapper’s convoy passed through Toronto has gained attention online.

The footage, shared on social media on April 28, captures a man driving near the area where Drake resides as a series of black SUVs, believed to be part of the artist’s convoy, moves past at speed.

In the clip, the fan becomes visibly overwhelmed, stating that Drake was inside one of the vehicles.

The reaction comes as anticipation builds for Drake’s upcoming album ICEMAN, which is expected to be released in the coming weeks.

The artist, widely regarded as one of the most prominent figures in global music, continues to attract strong fan engagement ahead of the project.

Recent promotional activity has further heightened interest. In Toronto, an ICEMAN-themed sculpture drew crowds of fans, some of whom gathered with tools in an attempt to reveal details linked to the album’s release date.

Despite ongoing speculation, key information about the project remains limited. There has been no official lead single or confirmed cover artwork, contributing to continued discussion among fans online.

Drake has not released a solo studio album since For All The Dogs in 2023. Expectations for ICEMAN remain high, with listeners anticipating a project that reflects a renewed creative direction.

ICEMAN is scheduled to be released on May 15.
