2PM’s Ok Taec-yeon weds long-term partner in Seoul as bandmates reunite for private celebration

Ok Taec-yeon has married his long-term partner in a private ceremony held in Seoul, marking a significant personal milestone for the 2PM member and actor.

According to The Korea Times, the wedding took place on Friday at the Shilla Hotel in central Seoul and was attended by family members and close friends.

The ceremony remained intimate, reflecting the couple’s preference for privacy after maintaining a largely low-profile relationship over the years.

Fans of 2PM were given a notable highlight as all members reunited for the occasion. The group delivered a special congratulatory performance during the event, while fellow member Hwang Chan-sung served as master of ceremonies.

The marriage makes Ok the second member of the group to wed, following Hwang’s earlier marriage.

Ok’s partner, who is not a public figure, is reported to be four years younger than him. The couple’s relationship became public in 2020 after casual photographs surfaced online.

He later confirmed their engagement in November through a handwritten letter addressed to his fans.

At the time, he shared details of his commitment, explaining that he had promised to spend his life with someone who had supported and understood him over many years.

He also publicly expressed his affection during an acceptance speech at the KBS Drama Awards, concluding with the words, “I love you, Ji-hye.”

Since debuting with 2PM in 2008, Ok Taec-yeon has established a steady career in both music and acting.

His television work includes roles in several well-known dramas such as Cinderella’s Stepsister, Dream High, Vincenzo and Secret Royal Inspector & Joy, contributing to his continued popularity across audiences.
