Clavicular speaks out after sudden termination of YouTube channels
The ‘looksmaxxing’ influencer claimed his channels were banned without prior notice, prompting concern among followers
Content creator Clavicular has appealed to YouTube to reinstate his channels after they were removed without prior notice, prompting concern among his followers.
In a statement shared on X on April 23, Clavicular said, “Very sad news this morning. My YouTube channels @ LiveWithClav & @ ClavLooksmax were terminated this morning with no warning or explanation.” He added that the channels featured livestream recordings and educational material aimed at self-improvement.
Clavicular defended his content, stating, “free courses created by me to help empower young men to be the best versions of themselves.” He further emphasised compliance with platform rules, saying, “Me and my team worked hard to ensure we followed YouTube’s TOS very strictly, blurring out all inappropriate language and sensitive topics. Could you please help in recovering my accounts?”
The influencer has gained significant attention in recent months, initially rising to prominence in February 2026 through livestreams on the platform Kick, with clips later circulating widely on X. His content centres on “looksmaxxing”, a trend focused on enhancing physical appearance, sometimes through unconventional or extreme methods.
According to previous coverage, Clavicular’s activities have drawn scrutiny from mainstream outlets, including an appearance on 60 Minutes in mid-April that ended prematurely when he exited the interview.
The removal of his YouTube channels follows a series of incidents that have kept him in the public eye. Reports indicate he was hospitalised after an apparent overdose during a livestream at a nightclub on April 14, returning to streaming the following day.
Reflecting on his future content, he said, “I think I have to figure something else out. …I either have to practice mogging sober, or just find a new form of content.”
