Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney reportedly kept distance at ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 premiere fuelling feud buzz

An insider alleged that the actresses ‘do not get along’ and that their interactions have been limited

Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney appeared to keep their distance at the Euphoria Season 3 premiere in Los Angeles, with sources offering conflicting accounts about alleged tensions between the co-stars.

An insider told The Sun that the actresses “do not get along” and that their interactions have been limited. “There were tensions way back … Their paths barely crossed during the making of Season 3,” the source claimed. “During the press tour, any interactions between the pair are being kept to a minimum to avoid any awkward encounters on camera. There is a complete ban on journalists asking about tensions between Zendaya and Sydney.”

The report alleged that the situation may involve Tom Holland, Zendaya’s partner. “It was an open secret that Sydney had the hots for Tom and was flirty with him when he would come to set,” the source said. “That did not go down well with Zendaya. They have not really hung out socially since then.”

Political differences were also cited as a possible factor. “It’s not like they have had a big bust-up, but Zendaya has quietly distanced herself from Syd. Their politics are wildly different,” the insider added.

At the premiere, Sydney Sweeney was seen posing with co-stars, while Zendaya arrived later, reportedly avoiding direct interaction. She also did not attend the official after-party.

However, another source close to the situation denied any feud, stating: “They’re both in high demand and working continuously.” A separate insider said scheduling and staggered arrivals may explain the lack of interaction.
