Sindh Launches Public Complaint Cell for Direct Access to Ministers


Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced the activation of the Sindh Public Complaint Cell, 919, giving citizens direct access to government officials for faster resolution of public grievances.

The initiative aims to improve public service delivery by ensuring timely action on complaints and utilizing all available resources to provide relief. Ministers, advisers, special assistants, and government spokespersons have been assigned duties at the complaint cell, while senior officials will be present daily at the Chief Minister’s House to personally hear public complaints.

An official circular specifies that the complaint cell will operate from April 1 to June 4, 2026, receiving complaints daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Citizens can register complaints through the toll-free number 0800-0919150 or via landlines at 021-99207568.

The Chief Minister emphasized that involving ministers directly will make the grievance redressal process faster and more effective, ensuring accountability. A roster has been issued assigning officials on specific days. For example:

  • April 1: Spokesperson Ghanur Ali Asran and Special Assistant Muhammad Ali Rashid
  • April 2: Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab and Special Assistant Sarfaraz Rajar
  • April 3: Spokesperson Arsalan Islam Sheikh and Special Assistant Syed Qasim Shah

In the following days, various spokespersons and special assistants will attend the cell to address and resolve public issues as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance governance and accessibility.

The complaint cell includes ministers such as Sharjeel Inam Memon, Dr. Azra Pechuho, Nasir Hussain Shah, Syed Sardar Shah, Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar, Ali Hassan Zardari, Zulfiqar Shah, Ikramullah Dharejo, Muhammad Ali Malkani, Makhdoom Mehboob-uz-Zaman, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Riaz Shah Shirazi, Shahina Sher Ali, Tariq Ali Talpur, and Muhammad Ismaali Rahoo.

It also lists special spokespersons and assistants including Muhammad Saleem Baloch, Dr. Sham Sundar, Syed Afzal Shah, Liaquat Ali Asrakani, Tanzila Um Habiba, Raza Haroon, Khair Muhammad Sheikh, Amanullah Mehsud, Kulsoom Chandio, Muhammad Ali Bhutto, Hussain Aslam Bhatti, Veerji Kolhi, Faraz Abid Lakhani, Tariq Hassan, Atta Muhammad Pahanur, Dost Muhammad Rahmoon, Babul Khan Bhiyo, Najmi Alam, along with Advisor to the Chief Minister Ehsan Mazari.
