Berlin  –  An event marking the Novruz holiday was held in Berlin at the initiative of the embassies of Turkic states in Germany and hosted by the Embassy of Türkiye. The event brought together ambassadors of Turkic states accredited in Germany, members of fraternal communities, representatives of non-governmental organisations, the cultural and scientific community, and journalists. Participants first viewed an exhibition showcasing the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world. The stands representing Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, and Northern Cyprus displayed historical and cultural heritage, customs and traditions, publications and exhibits, as well as samples of national cuisine from the participating countries. Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev and Türkiye’s Ambassador to Germany Gökhan Turan emphasized that Novruz embodies universal values such as renewal, peace, and solidarity. The diplomats noted that bringing together participants from different countries on a single platform serves as a vivid demonstration of the unity and solidarity promoted by this holiday.
