Kim Kardashian’s vintage 1995 John Galliano ensemble has attracted significant attention after reaching a high bid at a charity auction supporting legal services for women.

The two-piece set, which includes a structured blazer and a floor-length satin skirt, is part of a wider auction of Kardashian’s All’s Fair wardrobe. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, which provides free legal assistance to women in need.

The Galliano design, originally created in 1995, is currently leading the auction with a bid reported at $80,000,100. The figure has drawn widespread discussion online, reflecting both the rarity of the piece and the continued influence of archival fashion.

The outfit features a single-breasted blazer crafted from brushed angora, complete with an oversized sculpted collar and detailed sleeve trim. It is paired with a high-waisted black satin skirt, finished with an embroidered leaf design. The look is characterised by its dark, structured aesthetic, typical of Galliano’s work during the mid-1990s.

John Galliano’s designs from this period are widely recognised for redefining fashion through dramatic silhouettes and a distinctive gothic romanticism. The 1995 set reflects these elements, combining sharp tailoring with layered textures and a cohesive all-black palette.

Archival pieces of this nature rarely reappear in public sales, contributing to their desirability among collectors. The strong bidding interest also highlights how historic fashion can retain cultural and financial value over time.

The auction, launched on March 27, continues to draw attention as bids increase, with funds set to support ongoing legal aid initiatives.
